Lt Donald Kuske, 71st Fighter squadron, 1st Fighter Group, was listed as Missing in Action after losing both engines of his P-38 on a mission to Munich, Germany on 13 Jun 1944. His crash site and remains were finally identified in 1950 in Engersberg, near Reischach, Bavaria.
