1st Fighter Association members can come see F-15A 74-119 dedicated on the during our autumn wings festival. We expect to draw a good number of people and hope that we see some member of the 1st Fighter Association. The gates will be open from 0900 to 1700.
Our featured speaker will be Mike Fennessy, a former F-15 Pilot and Retired Col. He and his Parents will be there to dedicate the aircraft. After going thru Langley and the Air Force Archives, I found out that it was assigned to the 27 TFS in 1976, so it has the Squadron decal and the 1st FW decal. It is painted in glossy colors, used a polyurethane paint, so I hope it last a long time.
Come and join us if you can.
